Harvey Milburn and Gayle Scott are two Paramedics who migrated to Queensland, Australia from the UK. They now work with the Queensland Ambulance service along with some 90 other paramedics from the UK who were recruited by Queensland Health.
Harvey says “Queensland is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful - different lifestyle to England, a lot more relaxed and the weather is fantastic.”
Gayle came to Australia some 6 years prior, met her fiancé and had been going back and forth between England and Australia, until Queensland Ambulance service embarked on a global recruitment drive and she got a job and a visa to move to Australia.
